Welcome to the Business Technology Association! Founded in 1926, the Business Technology Association (BTA) serves office technology dealerships, resellers, manufacturers, distributors and service companies. Its core members — office technology dealerships — consult, provide services and sell hardware, software and supplies with the primary goal of helping businesses optimize business document and information workflows. Through the association's various educational programs, information, research, legal services, publications and guidance, BTA member dealerships are positioned to be the premier source of the office technology used by businesses throughout the United States every day.

Remanufactured Cartridges It makes sense. Rather than tossing spent printer toner cartridges into the trash, give them a new life so they can be used again. After all, remanufactured cartridges offer a cost-saving alternative to new OEM cartridges and, with the extended use of the original cartridge core, there is a positive environmental impact. Remanufactured cartridges have come a long way since they were first introduced. Today, monochrome remanufactured cartridges, together with newly built monochrome compatible cartridges, claim 34 percent of the U.S. market share.
Meet Dave Quint On July 1, Dave Quint, president and CEO of Advanced Systems Inc., based in Waterloo, Iowa, became the national president of the Business Technology Association (BTA). He is BTA's 81st president. Quint started at Advanced Systems in 1989 as a territory sales associate and has held various sales and management positions at the company. In 2012, he was named president and, later, president and CEO. Recently, Office Technology magazine had the opportunity to visit with Quint, asking about his role as a BTA volunteer and the association. Following are his responses.
