ProCopy Office Solutions Announces Fifth-Annual Sweepstakes
Tuesday, October 20, 2015
BTA member ProCopy Office Solutions has announced it is once again doing a unique and entertaining sweepstakes for the Arizona market. To again spread the word about its local, personalized service approach, the company has announced the Fifth-Annual ProCopy Better Customer Experience Sweepstakes, which runs until Nov. 13.
The sweepstakes is asking people to write a short essay of 75 words or less about why they have the worst copier in Arizona. The winner will receive a new digital copier from ProCopy, a trip for two to travel with the Arizona State University (ASU) football team to a Sun Devils road game, and their old copier, the worst in Arizona, will be dropped live on the air on NBC Sports Radio AM 1060 from a 90-foot crane. The event will take place at ProCopy headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, on Nov. 14 during a tailgate party prior to the ASU/Washington homecoming game. ProCopy has been a corporate sponsor of ASU athletics since 2010.
"We continue to hear about the terrible experience our competitors are offering to their clients," said Mike McGuirk, president, Procopy Office Solutions. "This is especially true since so many of local companies have been acquired by national companies with their 1-800 numbers and just plain poor customer service. We want to give people a chance to vent, win a new copier from ProCopy and experience what great local service is all about. Our winner also gets a great trip and has the satisfaction of watching their old machine die in a fun way. This year is the fifth year of the sweepstakes and the third time we have held it on a Saturday during our annual ASU tailgate event. All guests of the tailgate receive a ticket to the game, VIP transportation to and from Sun Devil Stadium, a free ASU gift and, of course, a great tailgate including steaks and chicken. ProCopy will also be raffling off several prizes including a weekly pass to the Waste Management Phoenix Open, also sponsored by ProCopy."
"Copy Drop has been a huge success because it helped spread the word in Arizona about just how different we are," said Tim Stevenson, founder and CEO, ProCopy. " The press coverage we received and the money that went to the charity showed what great pride we take in delivering a local better experience to our clients and how invested we are in the community we live and work. Anyone who saw last year's copier drop wished they could kill their old technology and we want to make that dream come true for one lucky winner."
The winner will be announced on Nov. 13 and will be aired live on NBC Sports Radio AM 1060. It will also be streamed live on www.procopyoffice.com. The company will allow people to join the live broadcast and drop other items from the crane for a donation to Big Brothers/Big Sisters prior to the copier being dropped. Last year's event raised more than $1,000 for the 100 Club. This year the ProCopy Foundation, ProCopy's nonprofit group that has raised more than $100,000 for local youth since it was established in 2010, will be matching all donations up to $1,000.
