Square 9 Launches New QuickBooks Connections

Square 9 Softworks has announced it now offers QuickBooks Connections, a comprehensive solution for automating business accounting practices, with improved functionality for streamlining financial data entry and bill creation.
QuickBooks Connections features a series of tools to help users best facilitate the push, scan and retrieval functionalities of working with accounting data. Integrated with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Connections provides users the choice to continue with minimal change in their current processes or improve efficiency even further through user-initiated data pushes.
QuickBooks Connections is bundled with several new features, such as QuickBill, increasing payables efficiency through a single-step process for data capture and bill creation. QuickBill allows users to capture a vendor invoice or purchase order into SmartSearch, where data can be extracted using OCR-assisted KeyFree Indexing. This data, which includes line item information, is then pushed using QuickBill to automatically create either a bill or invoice within QuickBooks, eliminating the need for manual data entry of any kind.
For those who do not want to change their QuickBooks accounting process, QuickScan allows you to enter a bill or invoice as you do today, and then scan any corresponding document directly into SmartSearch right from QuickBooks. Additionally, with QuickLinks, any related documents stored in SmartSearch are available right from your QuickBooks menu.

Square 9 has also added QuickSync, allowing for database lookups from QuickBooks with the ability to share that data with SmartSearch or other line-of-business applications. QuickSync allows for both manual and automatic synchronization of QuickBooks data, including Checks, Invoices, Bills, Deposits and more, to a MongoDB database.
