Metrofuser has announced that it will relocate its headquarters to Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Metrofuser's new home will highlight its broad line of imaging solutions and support services. The company will also feature its portfolio of IT training services, along with the latest specialty technologies. The expansion will offer new business opportunities for the North American enterprise print support industry. The company outgrew its previous headquarters in Roselle, New Jersey. The larger facility expands Metrofuser's production, distribution and training services by 25 percent.
With ecological sustainability being a core tenant of Metrofuser's business philosophy, it was vital that the next facility contributed to the well-being of the environment. Metrofuser choose to retrofit and reuse an existing building as it allows the company to "reduce, reuse and recycle" on a large and meaningful scale. Preservation and building reuse reduces the need to extract additional raw materials from the earth for the production of new building materials. Less energy and effort is used for the extraction, manufacture and transportation of these building products as well, minimizing emissions. Additionally, it lessens waste going into landfills. EPA estimations cite that construction waste accounts for up to 40 percent of the solid waste going into landfills every year.
"We are retrofitting our next facility to reflect where Metrofuser is headed as we continue to shape the future of our industry," said Will DeMuth, co-president and COO, Metrofuser. "We have been steadily transforming our business from a parts vendor to a strong player in the printer remanufacturing space. Our new headquarters will be tightly aligned with customer needs and showcase our strategic growth initiatives."
With classic and sleek styling, Metrofuser's facility will reside in one of the New Jersey's major business and logistics hubs. The new address at 475 Division St. offers easy access to major highways and is minutes away from the Newark International Airport and Port Elizabeth.
Metrofuser's relocation of its technology center to Elizabeth will continue its commitment as a Urban Economic Enterprise. Through commerce, the company, its vendors and customers make a direct impact into one of the fastest-recovering communities in the state.
