Aug. 25 BTA Webinar to Focus on Key Trends in Top U.S. Vertical Markets

The 104th webinar in BTA's Building My Business Webinar Series is scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Aug. 25. "Key Trends Within the Top U.S. Vertical Markets" will be led by Christine Dunne, senior research analyst, and Barbara Richards, senior consultant, InfoTrends.

In this webinar, Dunne and Richards will provide insight on print-dependent opportunities within the United States and how to capitalize on those opportunities. They will highlight findings from the market research firm's most recent survey results focusing on key trends within top U.S. vertical markets in SMB environments. Core topics will include: the types of businesses and employees that are printing the most; commonly printed documents by vertical market; and opportunities around MFP solutions, cloud connectivity and mobile printing. The webinar will also address various opportunities within specific vertical markets where business process automation can be improved.

Dunne is a senior research analyst for InfoTrends' Digital Peripherals Solutions Consulting Service (DPS), Digital Peripherals Solutions Consulting Service in Europe (DPSE), and 3D Printing Systems Consulting Service (3DPS). Her responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, conducting market research and analysis, and providing coverage of industry events. Prior to joining InfoTrends, Dunne held various positions in marketing and journalism. She has a bachelor's degree in French from Loyola University and a master's degree in journalism from Syracuse University.

Richards is a senior consultant for InfoTrends' Digital Peripherals Solutions & Vertical Market Business Opportunity Consulting Services. Her responsibilities include conducting primary research, creating forecasts and market-size estimates and editorial content for product and market analysis reports within the office technology market. Richards has more than 15 years of experience in the printer and office technology industry. Prior to joining InfoTrends, she was product manager of workgroup and color products at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. In that capacity, Richards was responsible for launching the company's first 50 page-per-minute color MFP device. Before joining Konica, she was the product marketing manager for Digital Equipment Corp.'s Printing Business Services Division, where she was responsible for the product launches of Digital's workgroup laser printers. Prior to Digital, Richards was the product marketing manager at Merisel Inc., where she developed marketing programs for HP's LaserJet printers. Richards holds a bachelor's degree in corporate communications from Southern Connecticut State University.
