Several office technology industry vendors have issued press releases announcing their status as recipients of 5-Star Partner Program Guide ratings by CRN:

CRN created the 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating to recognize an elite subset of companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs. To determine the 2018 5-Star ratings, The Channel Company’s research team assessed each vendor’s partner program based on investments in program offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programs and resources, sales support and communication.

"In this fast-moving economy, a digital transformation strategy is no longer a nice-to-have," said Hedy Belttary, senior vice president of sales, Laserfiche. "This creates enormous opportunity for Laserfiche VARs to extend customer relationships beyond the initial sale and guide customers through transformative change. We remain dedicated to equipping our channel partners with the tools and resources they need to grow their businesses and revenue while remaining on the forefront of innovation."

The Laserfiche VAR Program reached new levels of success in the past year, with VARs capturing larger shares of key industries including government, education and financial services, as well as expanding into new markets. Laserfiche's education program and support resources have enabled VARs to sell more ECM systems that go beyond document management, surpassing departmental use and involving the entire enterprise.

"Designation as a 5-Star technology vendor from CRN validates Lexmark's dedication to our channel partners," said Sammy Kinlaw, vice president of worldwide channel and OEM sales, Lexmark. "Lexmark is proud be recognized as one of the best of the best in the 2018 Partner Program Guide. We continue to enhance our program to help Lexmark partners grow and succeed, with a number of exciting new developments coming yet this year."

Lexmark's Partner Program is a global and integrated marketing program that empowers partners to effectively win more business opportunities by taking advantage of Lexmark offerings in a rewarding manner. Lexmark offers partners access to innovative imaging solutions and technologies, tools, resources and benefits that ultimately improve their bottom line.

"We are honored to once again receive CRN's 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating," said John Sheehan, vice president of channel sales, Sharp Electronics. "This recognition highlights our team's hard work to provide the best benefits to our channel partners. It is the strong relationships we have built with our channel partners that allow us to bring the best products and services to the market."

Sharp continues to grow its partner program by providing partners with marketing resources, strong leads, loyalty programs and sales training. Sharp's program offers support both before and after the sale as well as a dedicated account team to ensure the best possible experience for both resellers and clients.

"Finding the right technology vendor to partner with can be a daunting task, given the vast array of choices now available to solution providers," said Robert Faletra, executive chairman, The Channel Company. "CRN's Partner Program Guide and 5-Star ratings help them narrow the field and find the best fit, identifying the most rewarding partner programs and providing crucial insight into their strengths and benefits. We are pleased to present our 2018 PPG list, recognizing the strongest and most successful partner programs in the channel today."

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. has also announced it has been named to CRN's Tech Elite 250 list, recognizing IT solution providers with deep technical expertise and premier certifications. The annual list honors an exclusive group of companies that have earned the highest number of advanced technical certifications from leading IT suppliers, scaled to their company size.

To compile the annual list, The Channel Company's research group and CRN editors work together to identify the most customer-beneficial technical certifications in the North American IT channel. The companies selected have obtained these elite designations, which enable solution providers to deliver premium products, services and customer support.

The recognition comes as result of Konica Minolta's continuous efforts to offer business solutions that address the changing technology and requirements of its customers. The company has earned advanced product and technical certifications from a wide swath of IT vendors across a variety of critical industries. These all include Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HP Enterprise, VMware, Symantec and many vertical specific certifications.

"Being named to CRN's Tech Elite 250 list is no small feat," said Bob Skelley, CEO, The Channel Company. "These companies have distinguished themselves with multiple, top-level IT certifications, specializations and partner program designations from the industry's most prestigious technology providers. Their pursuit of deep expertise and broader skill sets in a wide range of technologies and IT practices demonstrates an impressive commitment to elevating their businesses — and to providing the best possible customer experience."

"This is an honor we don't take lightly," said Todd Croteau, president, All Covered IT Services, Konica Minolta. "This recognition confirms our dedication to being a strategic solutions provider that is constantly raising its knowledge base to meet the needs of its clients and the demands of the marketplace."
