MWA Intelligence Inc. (MWAi) has integrated FORZA solutions with the Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) MICAS platform.

MICAS (Machine Intelligence Call Assistance System) service makes device management practically hands free. MICAS is a cloud-based device management application that uses Sharp's Remote Email Diagnostics (R.E.D.) to collect device data and alerts while offering remote service capabilities and OEM device support via the MICAS Agent, a locally installed software at the customer site.

"FORZA, integrated with MICAS, provides a seamless and unprecedented means of communication from the customer and ultimately removes manual, on-site support with remote help-desk initiatives," said Michael T. Stramaglio, president and CEO, MWAi. "With the innovative technologies designed and developed by Sharp and MWAi's open-architecture FORZA platform, the integration was the next logical progression to bring service and ERP together as one solution."

"MICAS, on its own, is a powerful and much-needed solution for the customer and dealer, and provides detailed insight into the hardware and client network," said Michael Marusic, senior vice president of marketing, operations and service, SIICA. "Sharp continues to provide solutions to enhance customer experience. MICAS integrated with FORZA provides the dealer and client with increased customer uptime and first call efficiency, as well as a strong sense of intelligent machine and network support."
