Continuum has announced a new integration with Accelo, a growing professional services automation (PSA) platform. This integration gives Continuum's MSP partners the option to seamlessly adopt a fully synchronized workflow by combining Continuum's technical tools for MSPs with Accelo's business tools.

"At Continuum, we've always gone further in helping our partners to focus on what they do best," said Mary Crogan, senior director of product marketing, Continuum. "While we're focused on the platforms they manage for clients, we're thrilled to be working with the Accelo team as they apply the same beliefs to how our partners' businesses are run."

With each company's focus on empowering IT professionals to concentrate on doing the work they love for their clients through outsourcing and automation, this new partnership promises to give MSPs of all sizes a brand-new advantage in how they run and grow their businesses.

"As a newer face in the MSP market, we've been talking to lots of MSPs to find out where they are frustrated in running their businesses," said Geoff McQueen, CEO, Accelo. "While we focus on operations and managing the business with our PSA platform, we've heard many MSPs tell us how much they love Continuum and how it takes away many of the headaches of supporting their clients. Given our motto is about helping our users do the work they love, it was natural for us to work together with such a like-minded company."

Accelo's Smart PSA allows the thousands of MSPs already using Continuum the flexibility to easily manage all of their client work from one centralized system and take their businesses to the next level:
  • By combining powerful yet simple CRM and project management systems with easy-to-use ticketing, contracts and billing software, MSPs now have the ability to grow their businesses while staying organized.
  • The integration between Continuum and Accelo allows MSPs to experience the many benefits Continuum provides, while ensuring they have full, real-time visibility into all of their clients' work.
  • Accelo is the only PSA in the market that MSPs can also sell to their clients, taking their own expertise in using the product to create new revenue and services for their clients.
"Our team has been waiting for this integration for quite some time," said Ron Kulik, owner, RMK Consulting. "This integration will save us several hours a week and reduce our workload by cutting our ticket and asset double entry. We all agree Accelo is the best CRM PSA software we have seen or used and with the Continuum integration, will put them in line or even ahead of other major PSA platforms."

Continuum has released public ticketing APIs that support MSPs' critical ticket workflow needs. The APIs are designed to allow bi-directional updates so that the ticket information is synchronized between PSA and Continuum at all times.

Both Continuum and Accelo are focused on helping clients do what they love. Continuum's network operations center (NOC) and help desk allow its MSPs to focus on higher-level client service and Accelo provides unprecedented automation to eliminate busy work.

In other news, Continuum has added resources to its MSPedia, a collection of product-agnostic, educational articles packed with information relevant to managed IT services. Resources have been added on MSP pricing strategies, how to choose the right cloud platform, targeting managed services verticals, PCI DSS compliance and more. Since launching MSPedia in July 2015, the company has posted 12 comprehensive articles on various topics with the goal of helping its MSP partners to grow their businesses.

"We've built an extensive library of valuable, educational resources and have received very positive feedback from our MSP partners," said Jeanne Hopkins, senior vice president and CMO, Continuum. "With so many pressing issues for MSPs, it is our goal to compile the most relevant information that MSPs can easily reference and use when working with their clients. As we continue to gather many ideas from our partners, we look forward to adding more resources."

One of the advantages of working with Continuum is the support the company provides with business strategy, pricing models and revenue-generating initiatives. Continuum delivers many tools to help MSPs scale their businesses, but also provides enablement resources to guide them. Because of the impact pricing has on revenues, margins, business risk and marketplace commoditization, it is always an interesting and much-debated topic among MSPs. The recently added article, "MSP Pricing Strategies," addresses what MSPs should consider when crafting a pricing model and which are some of the most popular approaches today.

All articles provide related white papers, webinars, blog posts and third-party articles. MSPedia launched with articles on various topics ranging from remote monitoring and management (RMM), network operations centers (NOC) and backup and disaster recovery (BDR) to help desk services, security and mobile device management (MDM).
