March 24 BTA Webinar to Focus on Managed IT Strategy

The 99th webinar in BTA's Building My Business Webinar Series is scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, March 24. "Your Managed IT Services Strategy: Optimizing the Business Through Organic Growth or Acquisition" will be led by Mitch Morgan, partner at Growth Achievement Partners, and Mike Dudek, owner of Zygoquest Group.

In a recent BTA survey, the strategy of building a managed IT business was the number-one objective for dealers. Many have already entered this lucrative growth market and others are making plans to be successful in it. Many dealers are making the decision to grow internally versus acquiring a managed services provider (MSP). This webinar will assist in making that decision, as well as provide an update to the GAP/Continuum Business Model for Managed Services to guide your success whichever path you choose. This will be the first release of the updated model.

Morgan is a partner at Growth Achievement Partners. He founded the Connectivity Dealer Program at NIA in 1991. After his business was acquired by IKON Office Solutions in 1996, he led its Technology Services division. In 2001, he formed the Professional Services division for IKON. Morgan has been consulting with CEOs on strategy, operations, organizational development and sales since 2005.

Dudek is an authority on mergers, acquisitions and valuation for owner entrepreneurs in the office products, document services, technology services and telecommunications dealer communities. He is a CPA with an MBA who has negotiated and consummated more than 400 deals in the office products and document services sectors, and more than 30 deals in the technology services sector. Dudek, also a licensed attorney, is a financial executive with more than 30 years of experience in strategic planning, financial operations, accounting, auditing and acquisitions in diverse international industries. He is an expert at assessing operations and driving improvements through corporate and field executive teams, and has a proven track record for increasing profits and cash while enhancing control environments.
