Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS) has announced the availability of 10 newly designed and engineered e-STUDIO MFPs. The latest Toshiba MFPs include six color (e-STUDIO7506AC series) and four monochrome (e-STUDIO8508A series) models, which are all designed to connect, integrate and simplify the workplace.

Advanced software and hardware features integrated throughout the products enable users to tackle nearly any print, document management and workflow application. The powerful multi-core Intel Atom processor, a customizable tablet-style user interface (UI), Embedded Application Platform and Dual-Scan Document Feeder (DSDF) highlight Toshiba's product portfolio.

Toshiba's customizable 9-inch tablet-style UI facilitates a more intuitive user experience. The latest e-BRIDGE Next controller, combined with the new UI, gives users the flexibility and power to accommodate their unique workflow needs.

"Our latest e-STUDIO models were designed to help organizations operate more efficiently and cost effectively while optimizing workflow," said Bill Melo, chief marketing executive, TABS. "We have integrated, easy-to-use, customizable technology to meet the demands of the diverse markets we serve."

Toshiba's new MFP line also reflects its commitment to a more sustainable planet. The company's 10 new e-STUDIO models meet the stringent criteria of major environmental programs and standards, such as EPEAT Gold, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (or RoHS) and ENERGY STAR.

Toshiba's latest e-STUDIO products are available starting at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $24,176.

In other news, TABS has announced its partnership with St. George, Utah-based PrinterLogic. Toshiba's latest partnership will simplify the management, migration and deployment of printers, while drastically reducing cost for its enterprise clients. Toshiba will distribute PrinterLogic's print management solutions in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

PrinterLogic's enterprise print management solution delivers centrally managed IP printing and empowers end users to install their own printers, enhance security, reduce waste and optimize efficiency. Together with PrinterLogic, Toshiba will deliver comprehensive print management solutions that solve critical issues faced by IT, while reducing cost and complexity.

The alliance will enable Toshiba's enterprise customers to take advantage of the following key PrinterLogic benefits:
  • Centralized Driver Management — Compile and maintain a common printer repository to identify and deploy the right driver for every enterprise-wide user.
  • Eliminate Print Servers — Regardless of how many offices or employees an organization might have, IT staff may centrally manage all printers — while eliminating print servers altogether — to significantly reduce print-related costs. PrinterLogic's single integrated platform replaces all the functionality print servers use to simplify print management, reduce costs and empower users to install printers themselves, without calling the help desk.
  • Pull Printing — Secure the print environment by enabling users to send print jobs without releasing them until they are physically at the printer to receive the documents.
  • Mobile Printing — Simplifying mobile printing regardless of the device that employees use. Users may quickly and easily print from their mobile devices to any network printer, regardless of the printer's mobile capabilities.
"As we evaluated PrinterLogic, we immediately recognized the power of their platform and the benefits it would bring to our enterprise customers," said Joe Contreras, vice president of product and solutions marketing, TABS. "We continuously aim to deliver greater value and world-class service to our users and this partnership with PrinterLogic enables us to do so."

"Toshiba is a global leader in digital, print and content solutions for enterprises worldwide, and many of our thousands of customers already rely on Toshiba solutions to run their businesses," said Matt Riley, vice president of channels, PrinterLogic. "This partnership combines the expertise and scale of PrinterLogic and Toshiba to more easily deliver a complete suite of print management solutions and services."
