Keynote Address

Great Balls of Fire! Staying Motivated – No Matter What!
Denise Ryan, FireStar Speaking

One of the greatest challenges we all face is keeping ourselves motivated. This is particularly difficult and extremely important for those in sales and service. It’s easy to lose enthusiasm and get burned out, stressed out, and finally - checked out. This high-energy session will give you six steps for getting the fire back in your life and some quick tips for keeping yourself up. Motivational speaker Denise Ryan will have you laughing, thinking deep thoughts and having fun.

Ryan helps light the fires of enthusiasm so people can do great things. She is an author, an MBA and a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), a designation of excellence held by less than 10 percent of professional speakers. Her programs have been heard by audiences across North America. Clients include: Hilton Hotels, IBM and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She recently made Meeting & Convention Magazine's list of planners' favorite speakers alongside Bill Clinton, Condoleezza Rice and Anderson Cooper.

Build, Buy or Partner?
Hannah Erb, account manager, Collabrance

Service providers have the option to build, buy or partner when getting into managed IT services. Every business and business owner is different, and each business owner needs to spend time thinking about what managed services model is best for him (or her). During this two-part session, Erb will walk through the pros and cons of each option to help you determine which path is right for your business.

Erb, an account manager for Collabrance, is responsible for sharing best practices, coaching and training partners to help them achieve managed IT services success more quickly. She started at Collabrance in 2013 and developed her role to what it has evolved to today. In 2014, Erb was nominated by her peers and won Rookie of the Year, and in 2018, she became a member of the 100-Percent Sales Achievement Club at GreatAmerica. Erb earned her business degree in marketing and management information systems from the University of Iowa.

Economic Outlook
Tim Quinlan, director and senior economist, Wells Fargo Securities

In this session, Quinlan will provide commentary and analysis on international, national and regional economic trends. Wells Fargo's economists have been featured in many national publications, academic and economic journals, and on popular television and radio programs. The company's team has been named a top economic team for the past four years by Bloomberg News.

Quinlan is a director and senior economist with Wells Fargo Securities. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he provides analysis on the macro U.S. economy and major foreign economies. Domestically, Quinlan covers industrial production, manufacturing and business investment spending. His international efforts concentrate on Japan, Canada, Korea and Australia. Quinlan's work has been published in academic economic journals and his comments on the economy regularly appear in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and USA Today. Quinlan is also a frequent guest on CNBC and National Public Radio. He joined the company in 2002, and previously held positions as a trust account portfolio manager and investment strategist before joining the economics group in 2007. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Quinlan worked for Putnam Investments in Boston, Massachusetts. He has a bachelor of arts degree from Siena College in Albany, New York. Quinlan is a member of both the National Association for Business Economics and the Canadian Association for Business Economics.
