"The best vCIO wins!"
Chris Ryne and Jim Tarala of vCIO University have been helping develop vCIOs since 2010 and have seen this statement hold true for countless dealerships. The vCIO (SME) role plays a significant part in the success (or failure) of your managed IT program. vCIO University delivers a comprehensive curriculum that provides education, coaching, peer collaboration and professional development for vCIOs (TAMs/SMEs).
vCIOs of all experience levels will gain clarity of the role, understand the essential skills, learn the tools and tactics for each component, create actionable takeaways to bring back to the business, demonstrate competency in what they’ve learned via graduation and receive post-graduation support for 90 days to ensure their positive impact on clients and their dealerships alike.

Following the workshop, attendees receive 90 days of one-on-one coaching and monthly coordinated group webinar activities to help the vCIO bring back what he (or she) learned during the workshop and apply it to the dealership, its clients and themselves. This is included in the tuition fee.
At the completion of the 90 days, the vCIO has the option to continue to receive individualized coaching, execution support and peer group interaction via the vCIO University Alumni Program. Components of the alumni program include:
- Ongoing one-on-one coaching
- Access to the exclusive vCIO University online community, content library and learning platform
- Structured monthly peer group activity
- Access to additional materials and tools as they are developed
- Annual vCIO University conference
