Benchmarking for Office Technology Dealerships in the Post-COVID Era

In addition to the headwinds the office technology industry confronts on a daily basis, dealerships continue to face the financial impact resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent supply chain issues. In this session, Johnson will address the areas that have been impacted the most and the key challenges going forward, based on data gathered by SBA from members of the Business Products Council Association (BPCA), Copier Dealers Association (CDA), PRO Dealer Group (PDG) and Select Dealer Group (SDG), representing more than $3 billion in total revenue. In addition, he will identify several critical areas to measure for success going forward and share what good looks like today.

Johnson joined Strategic Business Associates in February 2010. For 13 years, he held various positions with Global Imaging Systems Inc., ending as senior vice president of acquisitions before and after it was acquired by Xerox. He was involved in all 80-plus acquisitions made during his tenure there. Prior to Global, Johnson worked as an industry consultant. Before that, he was a U.S. Marine Corps officer.
